Kisah Si Trio Detektif

Salah satu buku yang berkesan banget buat saya sampai saat ini adalah buku serial Trio Detektif. Sekedar informasi, buku ini bercerita tentang petualangan 3 cowok remaja bernama Jupiter “Jupe” Jones, Peter “Pete” Crenshaw dan Robert “Bob”  Andrews yang tinggal di sebuah kota fiktif bernama Rocky Beach di California Selatan. Keingintahuan mereka akan berbagai hal lah yang mendorong mereka mendirikan Trio Detektif. Bahkan mereka dengan seriusnya membuat kartu nama yang selalu mereka perlihatkan pada calon klien mereka.

Dalam ke -43 bukunya, ke tiga cowok ini telah mengalami berbagai peristiwa luar biasa melalui aneka kasus yang pernah mereka pecahkan. Buat saya yang penyuka cerita detektif dan petualangan, buku Trio Detektif benar-benar pas dan sangat seru. Ceritanya kadang sederhana saja. Tapi si pengarang sangat pandai merangkai cerita hingga membuat saya tak mau berhenti membacanya sampai habis.

Ada satu fakta mengejutkan yang baru saya tahu setelah saya mencari informasi tentang buku Trio Detektif di internet. Ternyata, penulis buku ini bukanlah Alfred Hitcock, seperti yang tertera di cover buku. Random House, penerbit seri novel tersebut membayar Alfred Hitchcock agar namanya dicantumkan pada seri novel ini untuk menarik perhatian pembeli. Seri buku ini awalnya ditulis oleh Robert Arthur, Jr. yang menulis buku ke 1 sampai 9 serta buku ke-11. Inilah ke -43 judul seri Trio Detektif (yang bertanda hijau artinya saya pernah membacanya..) :
